Here it is, the book I’ve been wanting to share with the world for a long time: Make Products That Matter.

I’m so excited to introduce you to Make Products That Matter.

I got a bit fed up with hearing, again and again, the advice to speak to customers for marketing, branding, product development and innovation opportunity seeking.

It’s great to do this, but it’s not always clear as to how and when.

That’s where Make Products That Matter comes in. It’s a practical, hands-on guide to show the research needed at different stages of the product development cycle. It also talks about setting expectations to stakeholders as to how long and in-depth different types of research will be, and also how to consider the business case when developing products.

This book isn’t just filled with my own ideas. I’ve had support from others in the product development field to include their work, from Strategyzer to Steve Blank.

I wish I had this book at the beginning of my career in product development to help me make sense of the field and help others navigate research and development.
