NHS Blood and Transplant funded my PhD, the focus of this was perceptions and attitudes toward organ donation and transplantation from a Polish migrant perspective. Following on from this was further research with clinicians and health services. I’ve written about this topic in edited books and peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at international conferences. The part I found really interesting was the role of social capital on organ donation.
